Transformative Dog Training in Sacramento, California and Surrounding Areas

Thanks for coming to this page.

Our Transform Your Dog in 60 Days (TYD60) program is our special sauce. It’s what separates us and makes us different from every other dog trainer in the Sacramento area.

But let me talk about you first…

If you’re here, I’m guessing it’s because you’ve got a great dog who you love.

Your dog is a member of the family.

You love this darn dog and are so happy to have him or her.

But you’re also here because you’ve got some challenges.

For some people, this might be a dog who is destructive in the house. Chewing, potty accidents, digging holes, etc. can be a REAL problem.

For other dog owners it could be hard to get out on walks. Leash pulling or even lunging/barking at people/dogs can make it hard to get out and enjoy things as much as you want.

Still other dog owners have a hard time when their dog is OFF the leash. Maybe it’s just a dog who won’t reliably come when there are distractions like dogs or squirrels…or maybe it’s worse. Maybe the dog even actively runs off and could get lost or hit by a car.

And finally, some dog owners are on this page because their dog has anxiety problems, or reactivity problems (barking at dogs or people on the leash), or even aggressive behavior.

Does any of this resonate with you?

If so, read on….

Because this is what makes our approach different.

You see, we approach every new dog with a very clear goal.

In other words, we’ve defined what we consider to be a trained dog and, because of that, we have a very clear blueprint on how to get there.

And if our version of a trained dog is something that matches pretty close to yours, then we should talk.

What we consider to be a trained dog is a dog who has the following four things:

Great on leash control

So this is a dog that doesn’t pull. The dog walks right next to your side, you stop, the dog stops.

You go into the veterinarian’s office and the dog is right with you. No pulling to get to other dogs or people. No barking. You wait in a chair and your dog lies down and stays next to you on command.

You go into a pet shop, no pulling or crazy behavior.

You go to a farmer’s market or patio restaurant and your dog isn’t trying to get to everyone and everything. He or she just walks politely, holds sit-stays and down-stays when you stop.

Being on a leash whether in your neighborhood or in public is a pleasure.

Off leash control.

This might be as simple as just being in your front yard with your dog off the leash and knowing that your dog will stay close or immediately come back if he or she gets interested in a distraction.

Or it might be going to a park and having complete control off the leash even with other distractions around.

Or it may even be going into the Sierras on the weekend and having a dog who can adventure with you off the leash and isn’t chasing squirrels and skunks, isn’t jumping all over other hikers and campers, and is a treat to be with.

Wonderful manners.

‘Dog manners’ can be a broad term.

But our version is making sure your dog isn’t jumping on you or guests, chewing up your stuff, having accidents in the house, destroying, getting in the trash or on counters, nuisance barking or whining, etc.

Balanced state of mind.

Our program helps dogs find more calm.

Find more relax.

Find more of a calm state, absent anxieties and aggression and reactivity.

A dog who feels much more comfortable in his or her skin and in his or her environment.

Do you think your dog can do all this?

Do you think YOU can do all of this?

You can.

I’ve personally trained over 1,000 dogs with this method and this method has been used with over 10,000 dogs at this point.

It works.

I’d love to show you how.
